As you travel from Tampa to Orlando along Interstate 4 you pass through Polk County and Lakeland. This area is within an hour of all of Central Florida's theme parks, but far enough away so as not to be involved with the daily traffic.

Lakeland is the home of The Florida Southern College, where the world's largest collection of Frank Lloyd Wright designed buildings are located. The Detroit Tigers call Lakeland home during the winter and visitors spend spring afternoons enjoying preseason Major League Baseball. The numerous lakes and parks allow one the ability to relax and enjoy the wonderful Florida weather.

North Mulberry is a rapidly growing community just to the South. With new subdivisions opening and a very active resale market, the area is growing. This is not just the area I have chosen to make my specialty, I also live here. I came to real estate later in life after a successful career of some 32 years with Geico Insurance. Twenty of those years I was in some form of management from front line supervisor to department head. I was born, raised and worked in the Washington D.C. area. I was relocated to Macon Georgia in 1994, and then relocated to Lakeland in 1999, where I eventually retired. Real estate has always been a passion and I am now doing it full time which allows me to aid in the relocation of others to this wonderful area.
