Having recently used Coldwell Banker on properties in the New England area we decided to use them for purchase of a condo in Sarasota. Originally from Cape Cod Massachusetts, I moved to Sarasota in 2002 with my husband John and daughter Jayde from our home of 28 years in Silverdale, Washington. While living in Washington I served on the City of Bremerton Planning Commission for five years, served on the Mayor's advisory committee for the allocation of Block Grant Funds and also served on the Board of Directors of the Bremerton Main Street Association.

Like so many, we searched all of Florida looking for the perfect community in which to relocate and embark on a new phase of our lives. After traveling throughout Florida on our search, Sarasota was an easy choice. The level of education/schools available for our daughter, the arts and theaters for us, youth extracurricular activities, restaurants, health care, the attraction of outdoor activities for adults from biking to "senior" softball, and the ease of joining the community, made integrating into the Sarasota lifestyle effortless. Of course, the top rated white sand beaches were considered a bonus!
