Patricia Tan, Born and raised in England, she moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1997, and specializes in working with European and Asian clients. Patricia’s career in international sales and marketing has afforded her the opportunity to live and work in many countries around the world, including Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Germany, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Scandinavia and of course the United Kingdom.

She also had the opportunity to travel in the U.S.A. while working for American corporations. Patricia spent five years as a Director of an American real estate franchise in England in 1990s, when American real estate companies were just entering the European market. Patricia has organized marketing trips to Canada, Asia and Europe, to promote U.S. real estate to second home buyers and investors. She works with a team of professionals focused on serving international clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions, coordinating with accountants, attorneys, bankers, and immigration specialists to ensure a successful transaction.

Patricia is a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS), Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI), Fine Homes Specialist, and has earned the Transnational Referral Certification to facilitate international referral business. She was named to the Top 5 in Real Estate in 2009. Having built her real estate practice with a focus on the international market, Patricia has served as Chairperson of Sarasota Association of Realtors’ International Council, and served on Florida Association of Realtors’ International Operations Committee. She writes regularly for various real estate and international investment publications, and is often quoted in the press as a source for information on the property market in Florida and other parts of the world.
